Orion as imagined, with the stars that make it up. This view shows the hunter as of around 8 p.m. local time this week from the southern United States. The most brilliant of all the constellations dominates our evening sky this week, climbing well up in the south around 9 p.m. local time. The Wii needs better games — and fast

Some of the early Wii games, such as the truly awful "Escape from Bug Island," had terrible graphics, less-than-stellar controls and poor animation. Things have improved — but not enough. Nintendo cut its forecast for sales of the Wii — from 27.5 million to 26.5 million — based largely on softening sales in Japan. For Nintendo to compete in this packed market, it will need to improve  its value proposition. It will need more quality titles. Fast.
